This term originally referred to ships that were beached. The 'dry' implies that, not only were they out of the water, but had been for some time and could be expected to remain so.El termino se refería originalmente a los barcos que estaban ¿varados?. "Seco" implica que, no solo estaba fuera del agua, sino que lo habian estado por algun tiempo y se esperaba que permanecieran asi.
